In the Office of Sponsored Programs Accounting SPA the Accountant is responsible for monitoring sponsored research accounts from the Federal Government State Government Foundations and Corporations This will include among other duties the preparation of invoices sponsor required financial reports timely collection of outstanding receivables and identifying problems that may affect the cash position of the University The Accountant will monitor spending on sponsored awards for compliance with federal regulations and University policies
