Toll Brothers, America's Luxury Home Builder, has an immediate opportunity for a top-notch Accountant to join our fast-paced and exciting accounting team at our division office in Kirkland, Washington. 

 

What is the opportunity?

The Accountant position is responsible for assisting in the coordination and preparation of month-end/quarter-end close cycles, review of annual report, reviewing accounts payable batches for proper coding and approvals, reconciling balance sheet accounts and preparing and posting journal entries.  This position will also assist with ad hoc projects, budget analysis and interact with all levels of personnel, as needed.  Independent work is required, as well as a proficient understanding of deadlines and responsibilities.

 

What are the primary responsibilities?

Assist with month-end/quarter-end close including B/S and P/L account analysis and reconciliations.Assist with 10Q/10K documentationAssist with review of annual reportCreate and post journal entriesReview weekly accounts payable batchesProvide explanations of budget to actual variancesAssist with external auditor requestsAssist in the review of budget variance analysisAll other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Does this describe you?

Possess a thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principlesPossess a solid understanding of general ledger Have experience working with financial statements and supporting analysisHave experience with account reconciliations and variance analysisAble to multi-task and handle multiple priorities to meet established deadlinesAble to work independently

Do you have these qualifications?

Essential:Bachelor's degree in Accounting2+ years of related experienceHigh proficiency in Microsoft ExcelPreferred:Homebuilding or construction Accounting experience Previous experience working in JD Edwards (Enterprise 1) Working knowledge of US GAAP

The salary for this position is $58,000-$75,000.
