We are hiring an Accountant to join our Animal Nutrition accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a broad range of staff accounting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable responsibilities essential to supporting our Premix business segment.

This role is located at our Neosho, MO location (hybrid work arrangement each week)

Key Responsibilities include:

35% Prepare month-end financial statements, complete account balance and activity
reconciliations, compile and enter journal entries, and provide financial statement variance analysis. Support budget and forecasting activity.

25% Manage Fixed Assets and Lease accounting process across the Nutra Blend portfolio.

20% Manage the nutritionist commission setup, approval, and validation process.

10% Support Accounts Payable function and manage the vendor master file .

10% Satisfy internal/external audit as well as SOX testing requirements, support corporate projects/initiatives; and various other responsibilities and special projects as assigned.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree required along with a minimum of 0-2 years of related experience.

Must demonstrate a knowledge of basic accounting processes and procedures.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (to include Advanced Excel), and ERP Systems required.  Experience with NetSuite ERP systems strongly preferred.

Strong manufacturing and Agricultural experience preferred.

Competencies/Skills

Ability to learn new concepts quickly, especially computer software.

Ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently to meet deadlines, work on multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required.

Must act with integrity, deliver results, demonstrate thought leadership, and leverage talent.

Effective troubleshooting, problem resolution skills, and the ability to drive process improvement is essential.

Must be capable of independently resolving issues for both internal and external customers.

Must be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, maintain relationships with key business partners, and have effective interpersonal communication skills.

Salary Range: $58,400-$87,600
