ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Small family-oriented manufacturing company is seeking highly motivated candidate to play a critical role supporting financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems of the company ensuring the integrity of the general ledger, subsystems and manufacturing data while maintaining an open line of communication with management. This role will be heavily involved in the day-to-day accounting activities but collaborate with others throughout the organization, gaining a thorough knowledge of the company’s operations while serving both internal and external customers. Duties include account reconciliations, period-end close, capital expenditure reviews, data analysis, fixed asset management and cross-training with other essential functions. This position will also assist with budgets/forecasts, audits and other special projects.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance or similar field.CPA candidates and those working towards certification are encouraged to apply.PREFERRED SKILLS
