1-3 years of general accounting experience- MUST HAVE Bachelors degree in Accounting
Responsibilities
+ Prepare, review, and support financial reporting team on month-end close responsibilities.
+ Prepare account analysis and assist in financial statement analysis and reporting.
+ Prepare, review, and coordinate external filings including assisting in the preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and supplemental information for SEC filings.
+ Assist and support periodic reports for forms to: The Missouri Public Service Commission, FERC Filings, Benefit Plan statements including Form 5500, Governmental surveys and forms.
+ Assist in the preparation of financial information for various management presentations and ad hoc analysis.
+ Keep abreast of changing US GAAP, SEC and regulatory rules and regulations.
+ Assist with internal and external audit requests.
+ Execute special projects and ad hoc requests, as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar degree.
+ At least 3 years of relevant experience.
+ Detailed knowledge of US GAAP.
+ Advanced skills and experience with Microsoft Excel.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00
