Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accountant in Arlington, VA. Duties Include: * Accountant will prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP * Manage and maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and reconciliations * Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts * Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance * Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes * Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits * As an Accountant, you will utilize large ERP systems, preferably SAP, to manage financial data and processes * Support the implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures * Assist with tax filings and compliance requirements * Provide financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making
