Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in the hospitality industry, based in Denver, Colorado, 80204-2713, United States. The Accountant will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities ranging from handling daily cash and investment duties to monthly accounting tasks and reporting. Responsibilities • Handle daily cash and credit card operations and prepare corresponding reports • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in bank accounts and credit card chargebacks • Monitor stock account for new contributions and record them accordingly • Prepare necessary documents for changes in investments and initiate investment transfers when required • Carry out monthly bank, credit card, and investment account reconciliations • Ensure reconciliation of gift annuitants and investment income • Prepare monthly banking and credit card fee analysis reports • Compile monthly investment performance reports for the Foundation and its investment advisors • Prepare quarterly allocations and reports of Foundation investment portfolio performance to endowment funds • Assist in the preparation of schedules and information for the biannual Foundation board meetings • Assist in preparing necessary schedules and information for the annual audit and tax return • Contribute to cash flow projections when needed • Develop and document current processes and procedures for the Foundation’s accounting • Train designated personnel to serve as backup to this position • Undertake other projects and duties as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Knowledge of CL Programming • Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning • Familiarity with various Accounting Functions • Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) • Ability to manage Accounts Receivable (AR) • Proven experience in Auditing • Understanding of Balance Sheet Account • Proficiency in Business Central 365 • Experience in Daily Cash Management • Advanced skills in Excel • Proven ability in Bank Reconciliations • Experience with Cash Reconciliations • Skilled in Credit Card Reconciliation Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
