Description We are offering a contract for a Full Charge Accountant opening in Concord, California. The Accountant will be part of a dynamic team, responsible for a variety of financial procedures, including general ledger reconciliations and month-end close procedures. The successful candidate will be expected to work in the office for part of the week. Responsibilities: • Oversee all general ledger accounts and perform reconciliations • Execute month-end journal entries and close procedures accurately • No payroll duties are involved in this role •Full cycle payables •Cash receipts, collections, and month-end reconciliations • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions • Use QuickBooks Desktop for financial management and reporting • Handle bank reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records • Monitor and manage financial data and reports for month and year-end Requirements • Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is essential, with the ability to accurately balance and maintain company accounts. • Demonstrable knowledge and experience with General Ledger tasks, including posting transactions, creating financial reports, and ensuring accuracy of financial data. • Experience in preparing Month-end Journal Entries, including adjusting, accrual, and closing entries, ensuring accurate reflection of company's financial status.
