Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in Sacramento, California. As an Accountant, you'll be tasked with effectively managing a portfolio of accounts within our industry. Your role will involve a variety of accounting functions, such as processing transactions, creating detailed reports, and ensuring accuracy in all financial activities. Responsibilities: • Execute advanced Excel functions to perform complex calculations, analyze data, and generate comprehensive reports. • Oversee the general ledger by accurately coding transactions, setting up tables of accounts, and assigning entries to the appropriate accounts. • Utilize Sage Intacct software to facilitate accounting tasks. • Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of client reports. • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve collective financial objectives. • Conduct payroll entries accurately and adhere strictly to payroll schedules. • Regularly reconcile accounts to ascertain their accuracy. • Leverage your knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR) in your daily tasks.
