Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in Kennesaw, Georgia United States. This role requires a highly organized individual who can efficiently process customer applications, maintain accurate records, and resolve customer inquiries. In addition, the Accountant will monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions. Responsibilities: • Provide accounting support, including the preparation of financial reports and balance sheets • Utilize accounting software systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools to streamline accounting functions • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks to ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately • Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations • Utilize Excel for data analysis, including the use of Pivot Tables and Vlookups • Work with ADP - Financial Services for streamlined financial processing and reporting • Utilize the Concur system for efficient expense management • Collaborate with the Controller or VP on financial matters • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment, particularly during the 2.5 day close period • Manage the transition from paper timesheets to electronic billing.
