We are currently in search of an adept Healthcare Accountant for a full-time and permanent role within our Full-Time Engagement Professionals practice at Robert Half! This role calls for professionals with specific experience in the healthcare industry who are well-versed in managing financial operations, full-cycle accounting, including month-end close procedures, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management, maintaining precise financial records, conducting audits, and ensuring full regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:
+ Manage Financial Records: Maintain the healthcare organization's financial records accurately and regularly, ensuring all transactions are recorded promptly.
+ Conduct Audits: Regularly review financial documents and transactions for accuracy, conducting internal audits to ensure all accounts are in order.
+ Prepare Financial Reports: Develop comprehensive financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
+ Assist in Budgeting: Contribute to the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing and reporting variances when necessary.
+ Regulation Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations specific to the healthcare industry and general financial standards and laws.
+ Handling Payroll: Provide assistance in managing the organization's payroll system, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
+ Accounts Payable and Receivable: Manage invoice processing and vendor payments while also monitoring patient billing and incoming payments.
+ Tax Preparation: Assist in gathering and preparing necessary information for tax filings.
+ Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for financial optimization.
+ Process Improvement: Implement and recommend improvements to the healthcare organization's accounting practices and procedures to boost efficiency and accuracy.

This opportunity with Robert Half's Full-Time Engagement Professionals Practice is a full-time, permanent Analyst position. As an employee of our practice, you will assist in outlining, planning and executing a variety of Analyst & Finance projects/engagements. Your engagements will range from interim roles, doing financial analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting, to implementing process improvements and solving our clients' business challenges.
As a staff member, you will engage in practice activities that include professional networking events and assisting our business development team in identifying industry trends and new business opportunities with your assigned clients.
Additional compensation will be provided for assistance in developing successful new business for Robert Half's Full-Time Contract team. Our team members need to be adept not only in technical analysis, but also in client relationships and project management!
Requirements
Additional qualifications that we are looking for include:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or other related coursework, preferred not required
+ A minimum of 2 years' experience in staff-level positions/roles within the healthcare industry
+ Experience working in at least 1-2 accounting & finance ERP systems, preferred not required
+ Intermediate - Advanced Microsoft Excel, ability to execute lookups and pivots at a minimum
+ Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
+ Excellent technology and computer skills
+ Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
