Description We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Accountant in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, including extensive experience with month-end processes, and the ability to work collaboratively within our team. Responsibilities: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements. Handle all aspects of the general ledger including monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end processes. Record and analyze financial transactions accurately. Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and guidelines. Conduct regular financial audits. Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure the accuracy of general ledger balances. Proactively collaborate with various teams to ensure accurate data. Recommend improvements to existing procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy of month-end processes. Assist with tax preparation and filing processes. Requirements Qualifications: 2-5 years of experience in the accounting field Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles. Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
