Job Title: AccountantJob Description
Prepares, records, and analyzes financial transactions for assigned accounts. Completes work in accordance with financial controls, firm policies, and regulations, demonstrating accountability and ownership for work completed.
Responsibilities
+ Perform and review account reconciliations and analyses to identify issues in transaction processing.
+ Research and propose resolutions for discrepancies.
+ Provide oversight and analysis of functions outsourced to service providers.
+ Support client needs through interaction with various areas of the broader Fund Operations.
+ Generate ideas and collaborate with others to improve existing processes and communication.
+ Interact with associates in operations, investment staff, and external customers to research, respond to questions, and resolve discrepancies.
+ Escalate questions to the manager as needed.
+ Support management on strategic and tactical special projects.
Essential Skills
+ Accounting
+ General ledger
+ Reconciliation
+ 1-2 years of accounting-related experience
+ Experience working with mutual funds/common trust products
+ Experience with OUS mutual funds/financial industry
+ Strong Excel skills
+ Strong analytical skills
Work Environment
Hybrid work environment with 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
