Our Client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for an Accountant for their Remote location. Responsibilities: + When a deal is presented to them, ensure all steps have been taken Activate the file through the systems Process payments Reach out to solicitor or branch partner for confirmation Review documents that come in for accuracy + This position reports and takes direction from the Global Mobility Expatriate Tax, Vendor, and Technology Manager. + The Global Mobility International tax accountant provides guidance, coaching, and education to expatriates and business unit managers and employees about the Corporation’s expatriate tax program, explaining tax equalization policies and procedures, resolving cases, and working with the Corporation’s tax assistance firm to complete Tax Equalization Settlements. + The incumbent is responsible for developing, reviewing, and maintaining the authorization list for tax services. Incumbent research discrepancies in compensation, deciding resolution and communicating that decision to tax assistance firm. Customer service and responsiveness is critical. + The Global Mobility international tax accountant will manage inquiries from expatriates or business units and close them with high degree of quality and responsiveness. + Incumbent will oversee work of tax assistance firm providing host country payroll and withholding and will manage tax receivables incurred by Corporation’s expatriates, collecting the receivables, and remitting them to the business units. + Ensures communication of regular updates and messages that inform and educate expatriates about U.S. and foreign taxes while promoting compliance with Client corporate policies. Incumbent performs other duties as assigned. Requirements: Basic Qualifications: + Customer service orientation + Individual income tax preparation experience + Detail oriented + Strong analytical skills + Effective communicator + Strong Excel and computer skills + Able to work in fast-paced environment Desired skills: + International business experience + Financial analysis + Strong problem resolution and closure skills + Experience with accounting + Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills + Experience w/expatriate income tax preparation and issues + Experience living overseas Must Have: + 3 years’ Experience with individual income tax returns. + 5 years of advanced skills in Excel and pivot tables + 3 years’ Experience in performing, compiling, and analyzing compensation data and tasks accurately. + 3 years’ Experience with payroll and accounts receivable. + Strong experience in detail-oriented analytic problem solving.
