Description We are searching for a meticulous Accountant to join our team, primarily focused on supporting our backlog in the non-profit and fitness sector. The role will be based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The Accountant will work in a hybrid environment, closely collaborating with the assistant and CEO. Responsibilities • Streamline financial records by transitioning from a predominantly paper-based system to a structured digital system. • Accurately prepare bank reconciliations to aid in audit preparation. • Utilize your expertise in Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to ensure smooth operations and reporting. • Compile and categorize General Ledger (GL) accounts, including assets and expenses. • Generate comprehensive financial reports, leveraging skills in Microsoft Excel. • Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and comprehensive documentation for financial processes. • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate accounting functions. • Maintain an organized record of balance sheet accounts. Requirements • Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Accountant or in a relevant role • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required • Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is needed • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is mandatory • Ability to handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary • Applicants must possess experience in Auditing • Knowledge of Balance Sheet Account is essential • Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required • Candidates must be skilled in Financial Reporting • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
