Description We are offering an opportunity for a proficient Accountant to become a part of our team. In this role, the Accountant will be tasked with handling a variety of tasks, including managing customer inquiries, maintaining customer records, and processing customer applications. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Efficiently handle customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy throughout the process. • Keep customer credit records up-to-date and precise. • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required. • Regularly update and maintain the General Ledger. • Prepare and present Financial Statements as needed. • Familiarity with Public Schools and their accounting procedures is needed. • Generate accurate Financial Reporting for internal and external use. • Utilize Accounting Software Systems effectively to complete tasks. • Prepare and post Journal Entries to the General Ledger. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required. • Demonstrable experience in Financial Reporting is necessary. • Ability to prepare and interpret Financial Statements accurately. • Familiarity with General Ledger management and reconciliation. • Experience with Journal Entries, including creating and maintaining records. • Prior experience or knowledge of Public Schools' accounting systems would be advantageous.
