Description We are in search of an Accountant to join our team, based in Newark, New Jersey. As an Accountant, you will be tasked with various responsibilities, including bank reconciliation, converting pdf files into Excel and uploading them into QuickBooks, and preparing files for review. This role is fully onsite and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities • Independently reconcile bank accounts using QuickBooks. • Convert important documents from pdf format into Excel and subsequently upload these into QuickBooks. • Prepare and organize files for review. • Utilize Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for efficient task completion. • Handle both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) as part of accounting functions. • Use tools like ADP - Financial Services and Concur for various tasks. • Carry out auditing tasks as necessary. • Manage and maintain Balance Sheet Account. • Work independently to meet year-end objectives.
