Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accountant to join our Engineering team in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounting transactions, and addressing client inquiries. This hybrid role requires in-office presence three times per week. Responsibilities: • Ensure accurate processing of financial transactions including journal entries • Carry out reconciliation of balance sheets • Prepare and submit payroll tax returns • Manage GST and sales operations • Create ad hoc reports as needed • Conduct audit workpapers for financial transactions • Utilize Office software effectively for accounting tasks • Leverage Power BI for data analysis and reporting • Operate Deltek Vision or VantagePoint systems for accounting operations • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth financial operations Requirements • Proven experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation • Demonstrated expertise in Sales and related financial transactions • Thorough understanding and practical experience with GST procedures • Proficiency in handling Payroll Tax Returns • Ability to prepare and process Journal Entries accurately • Skilled in Ad Hoc Reporting, with a focus on efficiency and timeliness • Experience in preparing Audit Workpapers and supporting audit processes Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
