Job Title: Accountant Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing month-end close processes, auditing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit memos, customer disputes, capex reporting, and cash applications. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments. Responsibilities + Oversee and manage the month-end close process, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported. + Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, and prepare for external audits. + Manage the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor communications. + Oversee all accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of customer accounts. + Process and manage credit memos, ensuring accurate application to customer accounts. + Resolve customer disputes related to billing and payments in a timely and professional manner. + Prepare and analyze capital expenditure (capex) reports, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of capital projects. + Manage cash application processes, ensuring timely and accurate posting of payments to customer accounts. Essential Skills + 3-5 years of experience as an accountant + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance + Proficiency in reconciliation, month-end close, bank reconciliation, auditing, cash applications, accounts receivable, and accounts payable Additional Skills & Qualifications + Manufacturing experience (preferred) Work Environment This will be an office type environment with support from the Sr. Manager of Accounting. Candidate will be working on a 6-month contract with the potential to go permanent and work with a growing company. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
