Job Description We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contractor Experienced Accountant to join our Transformation Team for a six-month contract. HoneyBaked Ham is in the process of validating the second phase of a multi-year D365 implementation along with several other projects that are looking to improve the business as it continues to grow. This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting background who can bring immediate value to the team and help us meet specific accounting and data validation objectives. Key Responsibilities:  Account Mapping/Posting: Assist with the review of account mappings to document where entries are posting as they flow into D365.  Data Validation: Conduct thorough validation of financial data entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all accounting records, including transactions, invoices, and receipts.  Inter-department Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data is integrated into the companys records.  Process Improvement: Support the development and implementation of improved accounting processes and systems.  Other Duties: May be utilized across various projects to perform on-going system and data validation as it pertains to accounting entries.  Reports: running reports in the new system and validating accuracy We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.  Proven experience in accounting, ideally in a similar contractor or temporary position.  Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and reconciliation processes.  Proficiency with D365 and Excel, a must.  Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.  Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.  Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.  Experience with General Ledger  Experience validation of large amounts of data CPA or equivalent certification.  Experience working in the Food Retail industry and/or with a company that utilizes a franchising model.  Previous experience working on system implementations is a plus.  Experience with Dynamics 365 Compensation: $25/hr to $40/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
