We are making every move count
We at Kalmar are looking for aAccountant, who will be responsible for supporting selected processes and countries, which includes accounting, coordination of month-end general ledger close, and preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
Main tasks and responsibilities
+ Account for daily operations and control end-to-end accounting processes.
+ Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and quality of financial information.
+ Communicate daily with local business partners.
+ Deliver services in accordance with agreed controls and procedures.
+ Review, follow up on, and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
+ Investigate and resolve discrepancies, identify unusual events, and work with the Supervisor to address issues.
+ Participate in transition activities.
+ Support external/internal auditors and Global Process Owners.
What you’ll need to succeed
We are looking for a professional who is a strong team player, has a problem-solving attitude, demonstrates analytical skills, and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. The ideal candidate will proactively take initiative to improve both their own and the team's work practices and will have an international mindset.
Ideally you have:
+ University degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
+ 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance operations.
+ Experience in handling simple to complex queries.
+ Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is required.
+ Knowledge of the Record to Report process.
+ Proficiency in both written and spoken English.
