Toll Brothers Apartment Living, the luxury apartment development division of Toll Brothers, America's Luxury Home Builder, has an outstanding opportunity for an Accountant to join our multi-family development team at our Corporate office located in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania.

 

In this role, you will directly report to the Accounting Manager and have high visibility to the Controller.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

Preparation and analysis of financial statements of various joint venturesPerform treasury management functions including but not limited to wiring funds between financial institutions, managing positive pay exceptions, fraud management and bank reconciliations Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual external and internal audit processesAddress questions and communicate with joint venture partners, financial institution and other stakeholders regarding the financial performance of the assetsPerform cash flow analysis to determine whether there are any cash needs requiring a capital call from partnersAccounting related to various transactions including joint venture formations, sales of properties, refinancing and other unusual transactions related to the assetsPerform ad-hoc requests, including special projectsWorking alongside finance, asset management and property management to assist with analysis of the asset performance and significant planned transactions.

Qualifications A Bachelor's degree in AccountingCPA is preferred2-4+ years public accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 accounting firmPrevious experience working in JD Edwards (E1), Entrata or CMIC is preferredReal estate-related accounting experience a plusStrong working knowledge of US GAAPHighly proficient in Excel              Ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external clientsDeadline-oriented, highly organized self-starter/motivatorAbility to multi-task
