Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accountant in California. The role is within a startup organization, with the aim of building scalable solutions and developing the finance function within the organization. This is a fully remote position. It begins at 20 hours per week but can quickly grow into a 40 hour per week role. Responsibilities: • Collaborate closely with the CEO and stakeholders, requiring strong emotional intelligence and stakeholder management. • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and contribute to creating scalable financial solutions. • Support the HR team with accounting and finance-related tasks. • Handle the Accounts Payable function and manage vendors. • Maintain the General Ledger and ensure accurate account reconciliation. • Forecast budgets and track expenses. • Utilize Quickbooks Online for accounting functions. • Ensure the accuracy of the Balance Sheet Accounts Requirements • Proficient understanding and application of accounting functions • Demonstrated ability to manage Balance Sheet Account • Experience with Quickbooks Online is essential • Proficient in managing and maintaining the General Ledger • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation • Familiarity with handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
