Description We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, processing journal entries, and performing balance sheet account reconciliation. You will also be using QuickBooks to ensure efficient financial operations. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities • Manage and maintain financial records accurately. • Process journal entries to keep financial information updated. • Perform balance sheet account reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy. • Utilize QuickBooks for efficient financial operations. • Monitor financial transactions and reports. • Implement financial policies and adhere to them. • Collaborate with the team to achieve financial objectives. • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and detail oriented standards. Requirements • Possess strong knowledge and experience in Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation. • Proficient in the preparation and maintenance of Journal Entries. • Demonstrable experience with QuickBooks accounting software. • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required. • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required. • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is a plus. • Must adhere to strict confidentiality and data protection regulations. • Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals. • Must have strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data.
