**Accountant – Bookkeeper**
**Parttime – 20 hour per week**
**Onsite in Doral Florida**
**Salary - $30- $40 per hour**
**Job Description**
Seeking a highly motivated Accountant/Bookkeeper to join client’s team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of accounting activities, including preparing and maintaining financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP, managing day-to-day accounting tasks, and supporting year-end audits.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Prepare estimates and deposit invoices.
+ Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
+ Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing.
+ Utilize QuickBooks for financial reporting, data entry, and account reconciliation.
+ Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
+ Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting.
+ Support year-end audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations to auditors.
+ Collaborate with team members to improve processes and systems within the accounting department.
+ Prepare financial reports
+ Organize and maintain financial records and documentation
+ Identify and implement process improvements for bookkeeping systems and procedures.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
+ Minimum of 4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
+ Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
+ Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
