**Job Summary**
We are seeking an **Accountant (Continuous Improvement Specialist)** with finance background to join our team who will have the opportunity to champion our Global Finance Transformation working from Caterpillar’s Analytics Center of Excellence (ACOE).
The preference for this role is to be based out of **Bangalore, Whitefield office**
**What you will do**
**Job Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:**
+ Guide and implement the period cost/xP&A continuous improvement roadmap
+ Analyse current process to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and areas of improvement, driving problem solving to develop action plans
+ Identify, prioritize and apply methodologies, systems, tools, automation to drive improvement initiatives
+ Use data driven approaches to measure performance (KPIs) on improvement opportunities
+ Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to drive transformation, develop and track progress
+ Champion change management and promote a continuous improvement mindset across all teams
+ Ensure all process changes are documented and standardized into SOPs
**What you will have**
+ Finance background – any bachelor’s or master’s in finance or any relevant certification in finance
+ 10+ years of working experience with continuous improvement projects or programs in large/complex organizations preferably in the finance domain
+ Proficiency in LEAN/Six Sigma/Kaizen tools and methodologies, including process mapping and documentation
+ Project management, trained and experienced (certification preferred)
+ Strong data analysis skills using Excel, SQL, Power App, Power BI and Power Query
+ Experience with ERP, Data warehouse, Data lake, BI tools, RPA, other automation etc
+ Excellent customer service skills working in a global environment with multiple stakeholders to drive outcomes
+ Advanced business partnering and collaboration across multiple organizations (HR, IT, Operations, etc)
+ Self-starter, works well independently and in a team
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Ability to quickly learn Caterpillar management reporting methodology and knowledge about products, suppliers, and consumers
+ Prior experience in application or system development and delivery (preferred)

+ Work timings 2 p.m. to 11p.m. IST
+ Work from office
+ IC (individual contributor) role
