The Accountant position is a temporary role for a minimum of 3 months and is responsible for preparing various analyses and reports, and providing other general accounting services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Prepares and records weekly payroll for all divisions
+ Prepares monthly accounting journal entries
+ Records monthly regional journal entries
+ Performs financial statement review and trend analysis for corporate departments
+ Prepares general ledger balance sheet account reconciliations and work papers
+ Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
+ BS/BA in Accounting/Finance or Certificate in Accounting preferred
+ Minimum of 4 years of pertinent accounting experience - hands on general ledger experience highly desirable
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Strong analytical and problem solving skills
+ Strong attention to detail and well organized
+ Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as a part of a team
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) applications
+ Great Plains experience a preferred
+ Payroll experience a preferred
