Description We are in need of a meticulous Accountant to join our team in the Monmouth County, NJ area. As our Accountant, you will focus on preparing financial statements and handling a variety of accounting functions, such as analyzing and reconciling bank statements and general ledgers, and working with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. This role offers great visibility to the CFO and provides the opportunity to grow quickly within the company. Responsibilities: • Prepare financial statements in an accurate and timely manner • Analyze bank statements and reconcile with general ledgers • Post entries for accrued expenses and revenue in the accounting system • Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable effectively • Handle billing tasks and ensure accuracy • Keep track and record fixed assets • Prepare and submit local compliance reports as required • Act as a point of contact for vendors to resolve any billing discrepancies • Assist in the process of onboarding new employees efficiently Requirements • Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required. • Ability to manage and oversee Accounting Entries accurately. • Comprehensive understanding of essential Accounting Functions. • Proficiency in performing Account Reconciliation tasks. • Experience with managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.
