Accountant - Entry Level
Description We are on the hunt for a meticulous and dedicated Accountant - Entry Level to be a part of our team in the wine industry, located in New York, New York, United States. As an Accountant - Entry Level, you'll play a significant role in managing accounts receivable, carrying out reconciliations, assisting with month-end closing processes, and conducting ad hoc analysis and projects. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Manage and oversee accounts receivable, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded. • Execute account reconciliations meticulously, spotting and rectifying any discrepancies. • Assist in month-end closing procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurately reported. • Prepare and post journal entries, maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records. • Conduct ad hoc analysis as required, providing valuable insights for decision making. • Undertake special projects as needed, contributing to the team's overall goals. • Utilize accounting software systems effectively for various accounting functions. • Analyze and review account coding for accuracy and completeness. • Use Adobe Acrobat and Dynamics NAV for various accounting tasks. • Implement ERP solutions for efficient accounting processes. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is essential for the role. • Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required. • Ability to use Adobe Acrobat is considered a plus. • Experience with Dynamics NAV is highly desirable. • Understanding of ERP Solutions is necessary. • Ability to perform Account Analysis is crucial. • Proficiency in making Accounting Entries is a must. • Thorough understanding of Accounting Functions is required. • Demonstrable skills in Account Reconciliation is expected. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.
