Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Entry-Level Accountant to join our client's finance team. As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will be an essential part of our accounting team, supporting day-to-day financial operations and gaining hands-on experience with a variety of accounting tasks. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn, grow, and establish a strong foundation in accounting. Key Responsibilities: + Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, reports, and reconciliations. + Manage and update general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy and alignment with company policies. + Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, payments, and collections. + Reconcile account balances and bank statements on a regular basis. + Help with month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries and supporting schedules. + Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and accounting standards. + Assist with audits by organizing and preparing financial documentation. + Monitor and track fixed assets and depreciation schedules. + Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as needed to support the accounting team. Requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required). + Internship experience in accounting or finance preferred, but not required. + Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables) and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar). + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. + Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders. + Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
