Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant - Entry Level in the Real Estate & Property industry based in Morris Plains, New Jersey. This role emphasizes on the application of Microsoft Excel skills, and involves responsibilities related to data entry and accounts payable tasks within the team. Responsibilities: • Utilize Microsoft Excel to perform advanced calculations and financial analysis tasks • Accurately input data related to various accounting processes • Apply Excel Formulas to automate and streamline financial tasks • Handle accounts payable duties, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices • Solve problems effectively as they arise within the accounting process • Collaborate effectively with the team to ensure smooth operations • Use analytical skills to calculate interest on invoices • Monitor and manage customer accounts, taking necessary actions as needed • Maintain an organized record of customer credit information. Requirements • Applicant must possess strong working knowledge of Excel formulas, demonstrating the ability to manipulate and analyze data effectively. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, with experience in creating spreadsheets, charts, and reports. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required, including invoice processing, payment processing, and reconciling statements. • A strong understanding of financial analysis is necessary, with the ability to interpret and present financial data.
