Description We are looking to fill the position of an entry-level Accountant in our team. This role is based in Wayne, New Jersey, and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As an entry-level Accountant, you will be tasked with various responsibilities revolving around handling and maintaining our accounting records. Responsibilities: • Undertake account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of records. • Utilize accounting software systems, specifically QuickBooks, to streamline our accounting functions. • Ensure accurate account coding for all financial transactions. • Assist in account reconciliation activities to ensure all financial data aligns. • Handle accounting entries, ensuring they are correctly logged and processed. • Manage accounts payable to make certain all financial obligations are met. • Leverage your Excel skills to manage and organize financial data. • Engage in other accounting functions as necessary to support the financial health of our operations. Requirements • Entry-level role. • Ability to perform basic accounting functions. • Proficiency in using accounting software systems. • Familiarity with account analysis and account reconciliation. • Knowledge of accounting entries and account coding. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP). • Proficiency in QuickBooks would be advantageous. • A degree in accounting or a related field is desirable but not essential.
