Highlights of the job

 

We are hiring a full-time Accountant I to work out of our corporate office in north central Phoenix.

 

This entry level position will perform a variety of responsibilities, including miscellaneous invoice related duties outlined below; journal entry preparation; monthly balance sheet reconciliation.

 

What you’d be responsible for:

Account receivable related responsibilities, such as:Setting up of new customers; Creation, maintenance and tracking of miscellaneous invoices related to developer and field requests; Issuance of credit memos; Identification of cash receipts received; Running aging reportsCollections, as neededMonthly account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliation.Preparation of both recurring and non-recurring entries, as needed.Providing accounting assistance to other team members.Researching historical accounting information.Special projects.

 

What’s required to be successful:

Bachelor’s degree in AccountingCPA, a plusMinimum of 0-3 years of finance experienceComprehensive knowledge of accounting conceptsAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with Oracle, or other large accounting softwareStrong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude and collaborative work skillsAnalytical thinker, and team player Proven ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlinesAbility to be flexible and operate in a structured but changing environment
