Responsibilities About the Accountant I role: The Accountant I prepares journal entries, routine reconciliations, and analyzes trends and costs to validate results. This team member relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish job functions. The Accountant I works independently with general supervision and interacts with other departments and/or external parties when directed to fulfill position requirements. What you'll be doing: Prepare and input journal entries Calculate and validate accruals Prepare monthly/weekly schedules and management reports Prepare reconciliations of assigned general ledger accounts Research and document reconciling items Assist with the preparation of external and internal audit schedules Assist with documentation and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Question unusual / non-routine transaction Qualifications What makes you the dream candidate?
