The Accountant will be responsible for core accounting tasks for the home office financials, including preparing and posting journal entries as well as supporting SOX-related compliance. The individual will prepare account reconciliations and document and resolve reconciling items timely, with a strong attention to detail. There will also be relevant administrative duties (e.g., responding to internal requests for information and/or communication with other functional teams).
Major Position Responsibilities Maintains financial records and ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensures the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger. Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.Analyzes current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
