DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Under close supervision with detailed instruction, this position assists in performing traditional general accounting functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger in accordance with company policies and generally accepted accounting principles.Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data for which answers can be readily obtained.Contributes to and ensures the accuracy of accounting data, transactions, and reports. Completes necessary account reconciliations and adjusts accounting entries in a timely manner. Maintains and monitors appropriate accounting master file ensuring acceptable accounting principles and procedures. Prepares income and balance sheet statements, profit and loss statements, consolidated statements, and other accounting statements and reports. May design, modify, install, and/or maintain general accounting systems to provide records of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions. May implement and communicate accounting policies and procedures. Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.Additional Functions Other duties as assigned or required.We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.
