Overview AMERISAFE is seeking a detail-oriented, productivity driven professional to add to our “Excellence Team” based in DeRidder, LA. The Accountant II is responsible for a wide range of activities relating to financial accounting and reporting (both internal and external) to include, but not limited to, preparing and analyzing significant accounting transactions and related controls; review and reconciliation of general ledger accounts; preparation of financial statements and related support and disclosures for review by senior accounting personnel; compilation of data and reporting for Statutory, GAAP, and SEC filings; and supervision of accountants when required.
