Accountant II
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accountant II in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. As part of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and maintaining compliance with various financial and accounting standards within the organization. Responsibilities: • Accurately process and examine accounting records and financial statements. • Develop and maintain budgets, and prepare reports comparing budgeted and actual costs. • Implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems. • Calculate taxes owed, prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax requirements. • Use your strong communication skills to convey financial information to clients. • Independently manage your time and tasks. • Apply your knowledge of accounting and mathematical principles as needed. • Use your ability to analyze business trends to project future revenues and expenses. • Adhere to federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations related to accounting. • Utilize computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other related accounting software for various tasks. Requirements • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written • Proficient in financial reporting and expense reporting • Mastery of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Familiarity with the software 'About Time' • Ability to perform ad hoc financial procedures • Understanding of regulations and principles related to accounting • Experience with budget processes and cost analysis • Knowledge of tax laws and company policies • Ability to ensure compliance with accounting regulations • Proficiency in analyzing financial statements and reports • Understanding of accounting liabilities • Expertise in using various accounting software systems • Familiarity with different accounting systems • Proficient in using various computer programs • Ability to conform to company policies and regulations Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
