Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the service industry, located in VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia, as an Accountant. The role entails a range of responsibilities, with a focus on Corporate Accounting, Excel Formulas, and Alteryx. Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain accounting practices to ensure accurate financial records • Utilize Excel formulas to organize and analyze financial data • Handle Corporate Accounting tasks, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting • Work with the Alteryx platform to streamline and automate accounting processes • Continuously monitor and update customer accounts to ensure accuracy and efficiency • Respond to and resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts • Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner • Regularly review and update customer credit records. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required • Minimum of three years of experience in corporate accounting or a similar role • Proficiency in using accounting software, • Advanced knowledge and experience with Excel Formulas • Experience with Alteryx or similar data processing tool is preferred • Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects concurrently • Proven track record of meeting strict deadlines • Certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) is a plus • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
