Our client, a leading player in the food warehouse industry, is seeking an Accountant III to join their team. As an Accountant III, you will be part of a dynamic accounting department. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Accountant III
**Location:** Houston, TX
**Pay Range:** $30/hour
**What's the Job?**
+ Review and approve monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and lower risk.
+ Act as the escalation point of contact for balance sheet accounts assigned to different entities.
+ Oversee the month-end task list, ensuring timely completion of all period close activities.
+ Develop and perform analytics on key accounts to drive resolution and create efficiencies.
+ Mentor new Accounting Analysts and assist in revising Standard Operating Procedures as needed.
**What's Needed?**
+ 5 years of accounting or related experience required.
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office and specialized accounting/finance software (ERP Systems).
+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to find and resolve discrepancies.
+ Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
