What you will do: + **Financial Transactions:** Create, process, maintain, review, analyze, and audit various financial transactions affecting the general ledger, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulations. + **Account Reconciliation:** Reconcile assigned accounts accurately and in a timely manner. + **Financial Closing:** Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing process. + **Reporting:** Prepare consolidations, financial statements, product costing, budgets, forecasts, schedules, and other reports required by management and auditors. + **Policy Administration:** Administer and ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures. + **Audit Support:** Support internal and external financial audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis. + **Special Projects:** Assist with special projects as assigned, contributing your expertise to various financial initiatives. What you will need: + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. + Minimum of three years of relevant experience in accounting. + Knowledge and understanding of general ledger accounting in accordance with GAAP and other regulations. + Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and Excel skills. + Results-oriented self-starter with strong initiative. Skills, Experience & Abilities + **General Ledger Accounting Knowledge:** Proficient understanding of general ledger accounting principles in accordance with GAAP and other relevant regulations. + **Communication and Analytical Skills:** Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. + **Excel Proficiency:** Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
