We are looking for an experienced, dynamic accountant who is willing to tackle a variety of challenges and projects across the company. You will have exposure to many aspects of the business and coordinates with a number of divisions including merchandising, operations, project and fixed assets accounting, tax accounting, accounts payable, and plant accounting teams.

 

In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including general ledger entries, reconciling monthly accounts, and preparing financial/operating reports. In addition, you will perform financial analysis and assist in developing accounting systems and controls.

 

Job Functions:

Prepare, analyze, distribute various financial statements and operational reports for management, applications for external agencies and organizations. Maintain financial records of the organization by entering journal entries and reconciling various general ledger accounts. Ability to communicate effectively with other departments. Assist the Assistant Controller in maintaining the daily functions of the department. Assist in developing accounting systems and controls. Performs other special projects and duties as assigned by management.
