As an accounting and financial reporting specialist senior or lead on the GAAP Reporting team, you'll lead, complete, and review complex business unit accounting matters in a timely and accurate manner. You’ll use your judgment independent of your manager and understand how your work impacts other areas of the company. You'll be the Subject Matter Expert with both breadth and depth in knowledge of accounting concepts, financial reporting rules, industry practices and company policies and procedures. You’ll monitor accounting changes, keep current accounting and reporting policies and procedures, and ensure journal entries and reconciliations are performed in accordance with corporate financial reporting standards. In addition, you’ll use professional accounting and financial reporting concepts and apply company policies and procedures to complete a variety of accounting and financial reporting responsibilities.
This is a hybrid role located in Mayfield Village, OH.
Must-have qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or related field of study (e.g. Finance) and a minimum of 4 years related accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a specialized area (e.g., reinsurance, investments), financial reporting, or public accounting experience.Preferred Skills
