Reporting to the director of North America Finance Shared Services, the Accounting Analyst is responsible for analyzing, reconciling and reporting key areas of focus in accounting and payroll. Success of the position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and flexibility to a fast-paced environment.

As our Accounting Analyst, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

Developing payroll reports and analytics for Business Units and Corporate Functions. Providing data-driven explanations and recommendations to management. Analyzing payroll trends and identifying root causes of significant fluxes.  Working with cross-functional teams to solve issues as needed. Monitoring accruals against actuals and providing recommendations to improve the accuracy of accrual calculations. Assessing and driving process improvements to create more efficiency and standardization. Reconciling assigned Balance Sheet accounts. Managing the processing of payrolls, as required. Coordinating with other finance departments for month end close. Working closely with other members of the HID Global Finance & Accounting teams to ensure understanding, alignment and communication of the financial impacts of business activities and decisions. Implementing and enforcing business controls to minimize risk and ensure financial reporting accuracy. Supporting recurring and special projects, such as acquisitions integrations and other key initiatives. Preparing ad-hoc financial presentations for business reviews and other executive meetings. Ensuring procedures and internal controls are in compliance with the company’s Accounting and Reporting policy.

Your Experience and Education include:    

         

Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting or Payroll in a fast-paced, high-growth company. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
