Kforce's client, a Manufacturing company in Hastings, MI is looking to add an Accounting Analyst to their department. This role will be both accounting and analytical in nature and report to the Plant Controller. Responsibilities include: * Accounting Analyst will assist the Controller with month-end close activities * Analyze SG&A expenses and other manufacturing costs * Reconcile GL accounts and resolve any discrepancies * Maintain inventory records, including assisting in year-end physical inventory * As an Accounting Analyst, you will maintain fixed asset schedules * Ad hoc analysis for upper management * Assist with Cost and variance analysis
