Accounting Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing vendor relationships, ensuring accurate vendor records, and supporting the accounting department with processing transactions, analysis, various reporting, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities will include:
Perform general accounting, including but not limited to the following:

• Fixed asset processing
• Maintains accounting records
• Manage and maintain accurate vendor records
• Monitor vendor performance, conduct periodic audits of vendor information
• Prepare and reconcile 1099 forms
• Vendor analysis to include duplicate vendors, inactive vendors, etc.

Education/Experience

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, accounting preferred, and one to three years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting or accounts payable related position.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in vendor maintenance, accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and vendor management processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial data with integrity.

Additional Skills:

• Understanding of accounting principals
• Previous experience with vendor management and accounts payable.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to vendor relationships.
• Advance knowledge of MS Excel – pivot tables, macros, formulas, etc.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and report data effectively.
• Detail oriented
• Highly organized with a strong ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across various departments.
