Compensation includes a base salary of $65,500.00 - $98,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.Job Description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited:
Manages corporate AR process end-to-end
Understands ASC 606 generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
Maintain complete and accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP and other Federal and State regulations
Provide excellent customer service to our business partners to help drive good business decision making including reporting on actuals of financials
Leads end-to-end ownership of multiple significant accounting processes to ensure consistent and accurate financial statements, identify anomalies, and make recommendations
Oversight and guidance of our outsourced accounting team
Excellent attention to detail
Preparation of documents for review by outside auditors
Provide subject matter expertise within our area of focus; resolve questions and/or problems
Monitor and optimize business processes by reviewing operational & financial processes to ensure compliance and effectiveness, identify anomalies, and make recommendations
Provide ad-hoc analysis based on customer need
Assist with policy updates, development, and compliance
Create and maintain key metrics and monitor KPIs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with 4 or more years of experience preferred in a related field (Finance, Accounting, Business, IT, etc.). A candidate may also have a Master's Degree with 2+ years of experience or a Ph.D. with 1+ years of experience. A non-degreed candidate will have 8+ years of relevant experience.
Proficient in Microsoft products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Oracle and other tools, etc
Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional partners throughout the organization
Team player, reliable, flexible, and active participant on the team
Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast fast-paced changing environment
Preferred:
Knowledge of Oracle, Microsoft Excel, OneStream, BlackLine, Tableau, Power BI, and/or ICOMS.
Experience working with a centralized or shared services accounting
