Our client, a leading organization in marine parts distribution, is seeking an Accounting Assistant 2 to join their team. As an Accounting Assistant 2, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Accounting Assistant 2
**Location:** Mettawa, IL or Venice, FL (Hybrid Schedule)
**Pay Range:** Competitive
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist in general accounting and transaction processing using QuickBooks.
+ Maintain accurate records and documentation for financial transactions.
+ Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
+ Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
+ Utilize problem-solving skills to research and resolve discrepancies.
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum 1 year experience in general accounting or transaction processing.
+ Proficiency in QuickBooks and basic accounting principles.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Experience with data entry and record keeping.
