Job Title: Accounting Assistant (Entry Level)
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to manage select accounts and ensure timely collection of outstanding payments. The role involves making over 50 calls per day, resolving account issues, sending follow-up collection emails, and assisting with other accounts receivable tasks as needed. Responsibilities
+ Recording financial transactions into accounting software, including sales receipts, purchase orders and customer payments.
+ Creating and sending invoices to clients, tracking outstanding invoices and managing accounts receivable.
+ Processing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy and preparing payments.
+ Matching bank statements to company records to ensure accuracy.
+ Manipulate data using Excel.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
+ Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
+ Quick learner with a positive attitude and good communication skills.
Work Environment
This role is initially 100% on-site with hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00
