Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Georgetown, Massachusetts. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining accurate financial records, processing data and managing accounts payable. Responsibilities: • Accurate data entry related to financial transactions • Managing accounts payable and ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner • Utilizing Excel for the creation and management of spreadsheets and formulas • Using QuickBooks for various accounting functions • Conducting bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records • Recording financial data through the keying in of journal entries • Leveraging ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for effective resource management • Managing accounts receivable to ensure all revenues are accurately recorded • Conducting audits as necessary to ensure financial compliance • Utilizing CaseWare for the automation of accounting tasks • Working with ADP - Financial Services for payroll and other financial services • Employing Concur for expense management and reporting. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is preferred • Familiarity with CaseWare is desired • Must be able to use Concur effectively • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is a must • Ability to handle all Accounting Functions efficiently • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is required • Must be able to handle Accounts Receivable (AR) effectively • Prior experience in Auditing is a plus • Proficiency in Bank Reconciliations is necessary Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
